Our Risk Management team in Düsseldorf is looking for you!

  • Perform the front-to-end rating process for customers and counterparties of the Uniper group
  • Analyze counterparties' creditworthiness by using internal and external credit scoring models
  • Develop and maintain rating models and methodology for Uniper portfolio
  • Support the implementation of optimization of rating methodology and internal rating policy
  • Analyze financial statements and perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of corporates and financial institutions
  • Perform regular and ad-hoc credit analysis and rating updates
  • Keep abreast of market developments and assess their impact on the credit quality of counterparties
  • Prepare rating documentation and presentations to internal stakeholders and management
  • Maintain high operational standards, proactively drive process optimization and system enhancement projects
  • Maintain active business relationships with rating agencies and data providers and support the Uniper procurement team in license renewal processes
  • Provide advice and training to new starters and junior analysts

  • Education in business administration, economics, banking, or similar background
  • Good knowledge of rating methodology best praxis, risk models, credit scorecard
  • Several years of experience in performing credit rating and in the analysis of financial statements, ideally in an energy trading firm / bank, as credit risk analyst.
  • Good knowledge of international accounting standards
  • Structured, well organized and disciplined approach to work
  • Good computer based skills, proficient in Excel, or similar analytical tools
  • Candidates with strong analytic skills are preferred
  • Business fluent in English is a pre-requisite, German language skills are a plus
