The Engineering Manager (f/m/d) will oversee a dynamic team of engineers, ensuring optimal performance, driving technical initiatives, and maintaining alignment with our organizational objectives. This role demands a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to excellence in every aspect of engineering operations.
Your mission
- Team Development: Inspire and foster a positive, collaborative culture within the engineering team, providing necessary support and motivation
- Performance Optimization: Regularly evaluate team performance, provide constructive feedback, and recognize exceptional efforts
- Cross-Functional Integration: Work closely with other departments to ensure engineering efforts are in harmony with company goals
- Innovation and Risk Management: Lead initiatives that push for continuous improvement and innovation while managing risks effectively and plan for team scalability to meet the growing needs of the organization
- Technology and Quality Assurance: Align technology strategies with business objectives and collaborate with DevOps, Security and QA teams to uphold high-quality standards
Your experience & skills
- Proven experience in engineering management, ideally within a technology-driven industry, with a minimum of 1 year of leadership experience
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in Agile methodologies, with a track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects and optimizing team performance through data-driven metrics
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a knack for problem-solving and team building
- A commitment to innovation, quality, and continuous professional development
- You possess practical experience in software development and have knowledge of PHP
- Fluency in both English and German
- A passion for invoice and finance topics
