Job Description
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a motivated and skilled professional to join a growing and dynamic, global ERP application team. The main goal is to work together with the business to solve their business challenges and meet strategic business objectives using Microsoft D365.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Microsoft D365 SCM.
- Support the delivery of end-to-end implementation. This includes design, configuration, testing, training, cut-over and reporting.
- Work with our vendors to gather requirements, align on expectations and finalize deliverables.
- Support the business to comprehend their problems and develop solutions.
- Take responsibility for optimizing, defining, supporting and implementing business requirements in the area of ERP applications and interfaces to third-party system.
- Ensure project objectives and requirements are adequately documented and that all project deliverables are fit for purpose.
- Support and coordinate developments with external developers.
- Analyse, design and plan new custom requirements in cooperation the external developer.
- Coordinate testing of any new systems including user acceptance testing with end users.
- Deliver project handover to the support organization to ensure successful transition of projects into business as usual.
- Manage projects, including timelines, budgets, and resources.
- 2-5 years professional experience in the IT- side support of ERP systems
- ERP experience, ideally D365 preferred, experience with other systems such as SAP are also valuable
- Experience with connecting / interfaces systems like Kardex
- Experience with interfaces to transport partners and midterm to 3PL's
- Managing system setup like (Warehouse Configuration, Printers and Handhelds)
- Maintaining role / worker profiles in the system
- Support Business in IDOC management
- Networked process thinking, understanding of correlations and effects as well as developing solutions.
- Ability to communicate technical information in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders.
- Confident communication skills in German and very good knowledge of English.
