In the Coatings Division, we are focused on the development, production and marketing of a variety of coating solutions - from applied surface technologies to automotive paints. Working in global teams, we promote innovation, design and new applications in order to meet our partners' needs. This portfolio is complemented by "Beyond Paint Solutions", which enables new applications with innovative surfaces.


Our global business unit develops and markets products for a comprehensive portfolio of coating systems. Our specific focus is on eco-efficient waterbased and high-solids coatings with low solvent content.

  • As the face of the business unit and central point of contact, you ensure the smooth flow of administrative processes within the global business unit and coordinate all appointments for the global business unit management.
  • Furthermore, you support management in ad-hoc projects including creating presentations, assisting with business travel planning, managing the supervisor's calendar, prioritizing tasks as well as proposing schedules.
  • In this role, you have the possibility to build up your network within BASF, you will have contact to top management and get insights to the current topics from the Business Unit.
  • You are in charge of the expense management system for the two executives and manage meeting requests, fitting them into the supervisor's agenda even when they are traveling, taking into account different agendas, priorities, and time differences.
  • You work closely with senior executives within the global business unit as well as other department heads and coordinate further processing in the absence of global business unit management.

  • completed university degree with first professional experience or completed commercial qualification with several years of professional experience, preferably in an administrative function
  • proficiency in standard IT applications
  • strong communication skills in German and English, maintaining absolute confidentiality
  • strong organizational skills, a systematic approach to work, and effective task prioritization abilities
