  • Taking responsibility for the analysis and coordination of the elaboration of global end-to-end Procure-To-Pay business processes and requirements in alignment with business representatives of the ZEISS IQR segment and IT experts

  • Analyze (regional/segment-specific) business requirements towards the global template SAP S/4HANA system in local fit-gap analyses under leadership of deputy/hub process owners

  • Drive adaptation of end-to-end business processes (incl. process modelling) towards FIT4 goals of harmonization and standardization and liaise with entity business experts on preparatory work, e.g., data cleansing

  • Develop process maps and process models to illustrate adapted business processes

  • Design and own test cases and conduct functional end-to-end tests in the SAP S/4HANA system

  • Define and execute the Cut-Over strategy with a focus on data migration and roles setup and ensure a smooth transition

  • Contribute, as organized by training lead, to creation of training materials, and, if required, support end user training

ZEISS aims to standardize and regularize different ERP systems, from numerous companies across the entire Group during the changeover from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA. The goal is to be as close as possible to the SAP standard and to harmonize processes across all segments and countries wherever it makes sense, focusing around; Efficiency, Effectivity, Speed, Flexibility & Compliance.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field

  • 2-6 years of relevant professional experience with reference in procurement

  • In-depth understanding of end-to-end Procure-To-Pay business processes like Supplier management, Purchase order processing, Integration with procurement-related processes & systems, e.g., logistics, intercompany purchasing, Open Text VIM, Concur and Jaggaer

  • Proven track record in handling complex projects within larger international companies and various stakeholders

  • Experience with SAP R/3 (and ideally SAP S/4HANA) as well as relevant third-party business systems

  • Relevant industry knowledge

  • Excellent conceptual, results-oriented and communication skills

  • Ability to build networks and keenness to work in intercultural and interdisciplinary global team

  • Business fluent in English and German (must have)

  • Willingness to travel (up to 50-70%)
