The MaRisk Compliance Analyst will support the Compliance Function in accordance with AT 4.4.2 MaRisk (BaFin circular “minimum requirements for risk management”) and the Human Rights Officer Function for ODDO BHF SE.

Tasks and duties include:

  • Roll-out and continuously improve the MaRisk Compliance Management System (e.g. methods and instruments, compliance, and risk culture code of conduct etc.)
  • Draft and/or review organizational internal Compliance Framework handbook chapter, process descriptions, work instructions etc.)
  • Identify new applicable laws and regulations (regulatory monitoring and inform employees affected Analyze the materiality and risk of applicable laws and regulations Ensure that departments implement effective procedures and controls for complying with (new) applicable laws and regulations
  • Advise departments on compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to and support new product processes and organizational changes by providing compliance insights
  • Prepare compliance reports for MaRisk Compliance Officer
  • Develop, roll-out and execute Compliance Control-Plan
  • Support on ESG-Compliance topics (e.g. Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz, CSRD, CSDDD)

  • Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred (Business Administration, Economics, Finance, IT, or related subjects)
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in financial services, ideally in a compliance, internal audit, legal or risk management role or as an external consultant or auditor
  • Familiarity with European and German regulatory landscape facing financial institutions; sound knowledge of French regulations would be advantageous
  • Strong analytical skills with solid problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Advanced communication skills to work effectively with colleagues at different seniority levels
  • High degree of own initiative
  • Ability to persuade different Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Fluency in German, French and English (written and orally) would be advantageous
