  • lead the development and implementation of the ZEISS Business Partner Program (ZBPP) globally and supervise the HQ team

  • develop retail excellence concepts for optical and optometry retail - implement the services and products into the ideal retail concept in close cooperation with the vertical teams (Lenses, Digital Business Services, Optometric Workflow Solutions, Myopia Management, EyeCo) and implement that within the different ZEISS Business Partner Levels

  • define strategy and growth plan of ZBPP in terms of geographical expansion and participating shops per partner level

  • align and drive international expansion plan in close alignment with commercial leadership the country organizations

  • develop and implement concept of ZEISS Retail Labs around the world followed by their supervision

  • take over the direct management of the Retail Lab/Customer Center in Oberkochen as well as the coordination and visit hosting for strategic customer groups for it

  • lead the development of tools, business and consultancy services that enable growth of stores participating in the ZBPP

  • take responsibility for the development of Marketing assets and plans for ZBPP (B2B and B2C)

  • define and roll out cooperation concepts with strategic retail coperation partners, being it 3rd party consolidators or preferred strategic retail partners

  • develop franchising concept for business partners like ZEISS Vision Centers or ZEISS Vision Experts and manage the connected global community

  • lead the realization of individual ZEISS Vision Center projects around the world, including approval, business plan and architecture in close cooperation with local teams in the countries


  • university degree in economics or optometry

  • 10+ years experience in retail organizations (ideally optical industry) with minimum 5 years of leadership experience

  • proven project management abilities

  • ability to guide negotiations on a high managerial level with key customers in an international environment

  • strategic thinking as well as knowledge in strategy development

  • advanced marketing, design and brand management skills with an affinity for sales topics

  • strong interpersonal, intercultural and international cooperation expertise

  • very good personal representation and presentation skills

  • willingness for frequent international travels, also on the weekends

  • fluent in English, written and verbal
