As a Planning Manager, you will play a crucial role in the successful initialization and execution of projects, particularly during the first 8 weeks which are critical for setting up the necessary infrastructures, software, systems, procedures, and tools. You will ensure a consistent and structured project delivery approach in line with contractual requirements and client expectations. Your expertise will be essential in implementing planning and control processes and systems according to the Exyte Way. Additionally, you will provide onboarding and training to the project planning team, ensuring the Exyte methodology is understood and applied effectively. Continuous support will be expected, making you a hands-on point of reference for project teams.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Be part of the Project Control team to support projects during the initial setup phase and execution.
- Ensure the best planning practices in accordance with corporate procedures are implemented during the early stage of the project.
- Ensure the planning systems (P6 or MSP), TMS (Physical Progress System), and LPS (Last Planner System) are implemented correctly to meet project requirements.
- Deliver necessary planning training to the project teams, ensuring the Exyte methodology is understood and implemented. Introduce innovative methodologies to support project planning delivery.
- Be flexible in solving onsite planning problems and provide continuous support as a point of reference for the project teams.
- MSc in Engineering, Economics, or Project Management. PMP certification preferred.
- Around 10 years of related operational experience within the construction industry, including 8 years in top firm EPC/EPCm and 8 years in planning.
- Proficient knowledge of P6, PRA, and the ability to read CSA and MEP design documents.
- Fluent in English; German is a plus.
- Strong leadership attitude and coaching behaviors.
