The Value Stream Operational Excellence Leader will serve as a key leader in aligning operational excellence strategies, fostering continuous improvement, and enhancing overall performance within the designated value stream. This role will collaborate closely with multiple sites globally and various functions across the business unit to drive toward a common operational business systems standard across all of GPS (Global Production Systems).

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives across the Operations Business Unit
  • Provide strategic guidance to enhance operational excellence, aligned with company goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to drive and support improvement activities
  • Employ a disciplined approach to quickly address challenges and standardize excellence
  • Coach and educate teams on continuous improvement techniques to build a learning organization
  • Drive cost improvement projects to enhance unit cost and Gross Margin
  • Advocate for best practices across all sites, leveraging Lean and Six Sigma methodologies

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, or business management field; advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing or supply chain, with increasing responsibility
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to operate in a decentralized, matrixed environment
  • Proven experience in project management and driving Continuous Improvement using Lean/Six Sigma
  • Results-oriented, with a track record of successful LSS projects leading to value return
  • LSS Black Belt certification with completed projects resulting in value return (savings)
  • Experience leading and motivating multicultural, globally dispersed teams
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
