For our company LGCEG we are looking for a Lab Technician (m/f/d) to strengthen our team as quickly as possible. In this role you will work in a global matrix environment, influence and represent all Lab Technician responsibilities.
What you will be doing:
• Preparing of samples for analytical measurements
• Managing of necessary supplies (solvents, gas, gloves, etc.) for laboratory services
• Managing analytical service orders and conducting experiments using laboratory equipment such as IR, DSC, TGA, HPLC, GC and UTM etc.
• Responsible processing of test requests in the laboratory
• Operation of laboratory equipment, data evaluation and data backup
• Maintaining of laboratory equipment for use at all time
• Documentation of test results in German and English
• Participating in the optimization and improvement of workflows in the laboratory
• Participating in global, multidisciplinary project meetings
What you will bring:
• Experience as chemical laboratory assistant, chemical-technical assistant; Werkstoffprüfer or similar
• Successfully completed training in activities listed above
• Practical and theoretical knowledge in organic and macromolecular chemistry and analytics
• Enjoyment of technology as well as commitment and creativity
• Good MS Office skill, especially Excel
• Fluent English and German, both written and spoken
