As the internal support organization for DNV and DNV-owned companies, we deliver shared services within Human Resources, Finance, IT, and Real Estate & Procurement to DNV globally. Our mission is to enable DNV to grow, succeed with its business goals and improve competitiveness. Customer experience is at the core of everything we do. GSS is responsible for many of the tools, processes, and daily routines that create the backbone of DNV.


The Global Shared Services organization within DNV is about bringing a team of true process experts together, going for professional services at industry standards, and offering centers of expertise for competence-based advisory.

You will be working in the Hamburg unit of our global PLM Competence Center. We are responsible for the development, operation and support of one of our core business applications based on Siemens Teamcenter. The role combines strategic planning, operational efficiency, and project-like work to maintain a sustainable set-up and operation of our environment for our internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the security, stability, and scalability of our production systems
  • Take control of the maintenance, support, and upgrades of all the environments
  • Ensure that the rules and guidelines of system administration are followed
  • Keep documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures updated
  • Provide third-level support for operational issues and contribute to problem resolution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operations with business objectives and infrastructural requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and user experience
  • Stay up to date on the latest developments in new technologies and best practices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years proven experience in application administration, experience in Siemens Teamcenter is an advantage
  • Strong technical background in IT technologies, incl. architecture, configuration, and administration
  • Enjoy working in and with an international team of experts
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with different stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Using methodological knowledge in daily work
  • Structured working habit
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Professional proficiency in English
