The Bank of Communications, Frankfurt Branch, was founded in 2007. The parent company in China is one of the country's leading banks. Over 2.900 branches are operated worldwide, incl. in Hong Kong, New York, Tokyo, Singapore, Seoul, Frankfurt a. M. and Macau. The branch is regarded as a bridgehead for trade between China and Europe and operates the following types of business in particular: National and international payment processing, Overseas trading (exporU import), Lending, Deposit banking, foreign exchange trading, Cash management, Money transfers. The Branch has 7 departments including Marketing Department, Treasury Department, Accounting Department, Credit and Risk Department, Business Processing Center, IT Department, and Business Admin. Department.

There are currently about 40 Chinese and German employees.


  • Responsible for daily currency position management, cash flow management, and forecasting for various currencies.
  • Responsible for liquidity management, monitoring local liquidity indicators such as LCR/NSFR.
  • Responsible for operations in various financial market businesses including money markets, bond investments, and foreign exchange trading.
  • Responsible for quoting on asset-side businesses, financial market investments, and liability-side financing operations.
  • Responsible for counterparty limit reporting and exposure management.
  • Responsible for maintaining and managing existing interbank counterparty due diligence processes and documentation, and expanding local interbank counterparties.
  • Responsible for internal regulations document, procedure document, operational manuals for the treasury department, and other tasks.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance or other related fields.
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in Treasury function/role.
  • Familiarity with financial markets and major asset classes, with knowledge and proficiency in Bloomberg/Refinitiv.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, good communication skills and team spirit.
  • Fluency in oral and written German and English is required.
