About this opportunity:
The Industrialization & Verification (TI) organisation is an integral part of the R&D organisation within EAS. We focus on validation/verification and industrialization of antenna products & components and develop the latest cutting-edge antenna manufacturing technology working in a challenging and highly motivating environment.
We are now looking for a Production Line Planner to drive our antenna manufacturing to the next level. The Production Line Planer develops advanced manufacturing concepts with the use of the latest manufacturing technology to produce our products as efficient, fast and reliable as possible.

What you will do:
  • Develop innovative production concepts, design production lines and correlating manufacturing processes
  • Optimize production time and cost by leveraging a smart setup
  • Design ergonomic working places
  • Drive line balancing and calculation of manufacturing times (MTM)
  • Implement LEAN principles (TPM, One Piece Flow, etc.) and time studies in the line design
  • Implement and optimize process KPIs (e.g. OEE)
  • Specify equipment and critical spare parts
  • Integrate lessons learned into the manufacturing concept
  • Support problem solving initiatives and root cause analysis

You will bring
  • Completed (technical) university degree, e.g. in mechanical engineering or production technology or an equivalent qualification
  • Profound expertise in production line planning, manufacturing technology or R&D
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing methods
  • Strong method competence
  • Structured and solution-oriented way of working
  • High social competence and ability to work in a team
  • Very good written and spoken English
  • German language skills is a plus
