For our global Legal & IP team at KWS SAAT SE & Co KGaA, we are looking for an Expert Legal Operations & Corporate Law (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible. The Expert Legal Operations & Corporate Law (m/f/d) is responsible for the implementation of state-of-the-art digital software solutions for the legal area as well as the standardization and optimization of the processes of the Legal & IP team including the development of standard contracts and other legal documents in the Expert Hub Legal. In addition, he acts as a reliable and competent expert for corporate law matters and overarching group law topics with regard to the global activities of the KWS Group. This position is permanent and full-time. The place of work is at the KWS location in Berlin or at our HQ in Einbeck / Southern Lower Saxony. Hybrid working is possible.

Your tasks:
  • Implementation of state-of-the-art digital legal software solutions
  • Optimization and continuous further development of the processes and IT structures of the KWS legal department
  • Development and implementation of standard contracts/clauses and other overarching legal documents for the entire KWS Group in close cooperation with the KWS Legal Team
  • Provision of high-quality legal advice for overarching corporate law matters of the KWS Group
  • Ensuring appropriate and consistent corporate housekeeping for the KWS Group in accordance with applicable laws and in close cooperation with the Business Partners Legal responsible for the regions
  • Responsibility for the development and processing of inter-company contracts and structures in close cooperation with the KWS legal team
  • Coordination and processing of interface topics of the KWS Legal & IP department to the other KWS Global & Group Functions
  • Monitoring of legal developments with potential overarching relevance for the KWS Group and initiating and coordinating the necessary respective internal legal framework
  • Further development and implementation of Group-wide legal guidelines and processes.

  • Fully qualified lawyer, Master of Laws, business lawyer or comparable, also foreign, degree
  • Experience in legal operations and legal tech as well as a high affinity for IT
  • Experience in corporate law in a global industry environment is an advantage
  • Ability to provide legally sound and at the same time pragmatic legal advice
  • Excellent customer orientation and entrepreneurial way of thinking and working
  • Excellent communication skills with regard to different target groups and hierarchical levels
  • Team player with a hands-on mentality and at the same time an independent, structured way of working
  • Experience in project management an advantage
  • Mobility and flexibility
  • Fluent written and spoken English, good knowledge of German is an advantage
