KNIME continues to grow, and we are looking for someone to help our team internally to grow along.
We are looking for someone who can work independently, uses common sense, and asks for help when needed. Having (or at least tolerating) a quirky sense of humour is a plus. Being comfortable using a screwdriver is also a plus but not a requirement. While being helpful by nature is needed, it's almost equally important to be able to say "no". English is the common language in our offices and your fluency in German will facilitate your day-to-day tasks.

As Office Manager at KNIME, you will be the heart and soul of our dynamic workplace, ensuring a seamless blend of the big picture and intricate details. In this multi-faceted role, you will create an environment where KNIME employees and visitors feel comfortable and embody a feel-good manager with visionary, inspiring seniority. Your responsibilities will include budget planning and monitoring, maintaining relationships with external suppliers and overseeing repairs and building work to improve our premises. As the central point of contact for KNIMErs, you will be responsible for tasks such as organizing meetings with the managers of our other offices and keeping track of the team's whereabouts. On the administrative side, you will coordinate with other KNIME offices, manage office supplies, oversee cleaning services and monitor various aspects of office life, from meeting room preparation to package management.
In addition, your tasks will include event coordination, including setting up meeting rooms, organizing weekly breakfast and office lunches and assisting with the organization of summits. Travel coordination, which includes flight and hotel bookings and synchronizing team travel, will also fall under your remit.
