Our Sales New Markets Team in Düsseldorf is looking for YOU! As part of the Sales New Markets Team, your task will be to deliver sales activities outside the DACH area.

  • Commercial mandate to create and implement new business activities and services around Uniper's assets and portfolio positions outside the DACH region
  • Scanning new commodity markets, exploring opportunities and building business cases
  • Develop sales strategies in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders to penetrate new markets
  • Responsibility for the delivery of sales volume for Uniper's (conventional and decarbonised) ammonia activities
  • Establish relationships with potential customers and negotiate sales contracts
  • Working closely with key internal stakeholders and obtaining necessary approval processes
  • Representing Uniper at external conferences and on committees
  • Direct reporting to the Head of New Markets

  • University degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Engineering
  • Several years of experience in Sales, Origination, or Trading
  • Profound understanding of international commodity markets (e.g., Gas, Power, LNG, Ammonia, GoOs)
  • Ability to think ‘outside the box' and drive change in a pragmatic manner
  • Strong service and customer orientation, including excellent negotiation skills
  • Desire to create and enhance EGM (Energy Generation Management)
  • Familiarity with internal and external stakeholder management as well as integrative personality and strong team player
  • Excellent language skills in German and English; additional languages are highly appreciated
