A day in the life
The Senior works closely and on daily basis with most senior leaders of Operations, Employee Relations, Public Relations, Public Policy, Finance, Legal, and more. GSO Security Risk Management operates in highly diversified and volatile environment which includes numerous regulatory and law enforcement environments, cultures, languages, criminality levels and national, political, social and security complexities.

The team's operational footprint covers global operations.
The Senior Manager leads the cooperation with various global functions to develop specific frameworks and mechanisms relevant to managing risk to people, operations, assets and brand.

DESCRIPTION

The Senior Manager Risk for Global Investigations, leads the team that enables a comprehensive investigation management framework and the development of commensurate methodology, mechanisms, and investigative capabilities to cope with various levels of threats, risks, incidents and crisis situations that jeopardize Amazon's personnel, operations, assets, and interests.

Key job responsibilities
1. Create frameworks and mechanisms by translating Amazon Security Policies into real world applications to defeat known and emerging/projected risks related to investigations.
2. Implement detailed investigation programs and comprehensive assessment reports to identify vulnerabilities and risks,
3. Support the business with analytical deep dives to identify root causes of risk and major incidents
4. Train, advise, and partner with other functions in identifying, managing and mitigating risks through robust standards and processes
5. Assess known and new vulnerabilities and threats within Amazon business operations
6. Work with stakeholders and internal customers to establish, provide, and agree on clear goals, objectives, and performance delivery outcomes

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. An advanced degree
2. Project management and delivery experience
3. Knowledge and qualification in investigation processes and risk management
4. Demonstrated ability to work with multiple, competing deadlines, with excellent attention to detail
5. Ability to communicate with all levels of business leadership and staff

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Advanced degree in related field (Risk management, Law, Investigations etc.)
2. Experience with continuous improvement cycles and analytical methodology
3. Familiarity with investigations risk and case management
4. Risk management industry certification
