Your tasks – this is what awaits you in detail

  • You will be a member of one of our Platform teams. Your goal is to deliver the best possible developer experience to internal developers and guarantee reliable and performant production and development environments.

  • You will orchestrate and design clusters using technologies like RabbitMQ, MySQL, MongoDB and Redis.

  • Architect new databases and data processing systems to deliver scalable, highly available, maintainable, cross-region solutions.

  • Example tasks you could work on:

    • Improving developer experience through test data import/generation for testing environments.

    • Implementing self-service for development teams to provision new databases/cache/message-brokers clusters for their microservices.

    • As a lead engineer, you support team members from a technical perspective and intensively influence the team's product visions and roadmap.

Profile

Your profile – this is what we expect from you

  • You have profound experience in using database solutions as a Software Engineer for different use cases, and now you want to use this knowledge to provide scalable solutions for product teams in the context of a platform team.

  • You possess analytical and troubleshooting skills, relative fluency in coding and high traffic / high availability system architecture and a desire to tackle complex problems.

  • You have extensive experience with IaC, preferably with Terraform and/or Ansible.

  • Experience in functional leadership of a team.

  • You are a strong team player and enjoy collaborating with different people and profiles as well as share knowledge and strive for continuous development and learning.

  • You have excellent communication skills, are willing to embrace our company culture & values and enjoy working in an international, english-speaking team.
