  • You will develop principles, criteria and indicators for the ISCC PLUS standard with focus on:
  1. (mechanical) plastic recycling,
  2. social criteria,
  3. Pre/Post consumer materials
  • You will analyse market needs for sustainability certification with regard to the bio- and circular economy
  • You will facilitate practical implementation of ISCC PLUS certification through technical guidance to certified companies and auditors/certification bodies via e-mails, video calls, etc.
  • You will develop and update system documents, audit procedures and guidance documents for the use by certified companies and auditors
  • You will monitor and assess relevant legislations
  • You will support implementations, adjustments and testing of ISCC PLUS requirements in the auditing tool
  • You will analyse data of ISCC PLUS certification
  • You will further develop and conduct ISCC PLUS trainings
  • You will establish and maintain good working relations with relevant stakeholders
  • You will represent ISCC at external events (e.g. conferences, stakeholder meetings)


  • University degree in circular economy, sustainability, environmental sciences, or another related field
  • At least 2 years of professional experience after graduation
  • At least 1 year postgraduate relevant professional experience after graduation within the field of circular economy and/or certification
  • Working knowledge with relevant legislation in the field of plastics/recycling
  • Proven professional experience in project management
  • Excellent communication skills in an international environment with stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent language skills in English (at least C1), additional language skills will be of advantage
  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • Service-oriented thinking and excellent networking capability, especially in international environments
  • Very strong presentation skills as well as the ability to explain complex issues in simple terms and to prepare professional presentations according to target group
  • High general IT proficiency and very good working knowledge in databases and MS Office
  • High degree of initiative and very good decision-making ability combined with an independent working style and pragmatic, hands-on attitude
  • Willingness to contribute to the continuous improvement process and to drive change
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally
