Job Description

The Senior Manager People Analytics is responsible for leading the development and implementation of the HR Data Strategy across the Bauer Media Group. This role will manage a small team of data professionals and partner with HR leaders, Technology and business leaders, and other stakeholders to provide data solutions that enable informed decision-making Bauer's transformation and other strategic initiatives.


  • Develop and execute a workforce analytics strategy that supports the organization's objectives and goals.
  • Recruit & lead a small team of data professionals in the delivery of analytical solutions to support HR and business decisions.
  • Partner with HR, Technology and business leaders to identify critical business questions that can be addressed with Data.
  • Define and implement metrics, reporting, and dashboards to track key HR and business performance indicators.
  • Lead the development of cross-company data improvement efforts through data collection exercises or recommending process improvements to ensure data availability and integrity.
  • Stay current on emerging trends, tools, and technologies in workforce analytics and recommend new approaches to improve effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics) and 8+ years of professional experience with 4+ in a data leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team of data professionals on the delivery of data projects.
  • Familiarity with HR processes and terminology is a plus.
  • Knowledge of HR Systems data model (SAP Success Factors) and hands-on experience with Python and PowerBI.
  • Conceptual skills and ideally experience in developing a HR data strategy, previous experience on ESG reporting is desirable.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts and results into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English skills.
