Mercedes-Benz Group AG is one of the most successful automotive companies in the world and with the famous brand Mercedes-Benz the vehicle manufacturer is one of the largest suppliers of premium and luxury cars and vans.

Global Customer Service and Parts organization is responsible for the worldwide parts and service business. Our team Wholesale Systems International is owner of IT systems we provide to the markets (e.g. Countries in Europe, but also in Brazil, Australia, South Africa). Main purpose of this IT-solutions is to procure spare parts from the Global Logistics Center in Germany and distribute them to Mercedes-Benz dealers in the countries. The aim is to supply the workshops with spare parts in an optimal way so that the right part is available at all times for the repair or service of an end customer vehicle. The GCSP/ODL and ITS/GL departments work on these topics with the "OneTeam" mindset and interdisciplinary cooperation.

In 2021, we started introducing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations as an IT product for the supply chain at the wholesale level. The team's task is to rollout this product into other markets, integrate it into the existing IT landscape, ensure daily operations and implement Mercedes-Benz requirements in the standard product together with Microsoft as the vendor of the core product.

As a working student in our team, the following tasks apply to you:

  • Participation in an exciting and strategically important project in after-sales logistics with a focus on IT processes and methods
  • Support for System architects and Technical IT Product team as part of the use of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
  • Preparation, implementation, and follow-up of meetings with international IT and specialist colleagues from India, South Africa, Brazil, Turkey, as well as with our external IT providers
  • Independent responsibility for tasks in agile project management, e.g. , IT automation, reporting in Power BI and close integration of the Azure Dev-Ops, performance management of IT System, communication with the development team
  • Evaluation and implementation of new ideas based on technologies and possibilities, e.g., with the Microsoft Power platform, Azure Logic Apps, Microsoft Copilot, Azure DevOps, CI/CD Pipeline
  • Preparation of Technical Documentation based on the implementation in the project
  • Work closely with System Architects to design and develop new proof of concept to be integrated in the project
  • Work towards implementation of cloud ready solutions to achieve Radical Standardization Strategy in the company

Hybrid working environment: Partly present in the office on site in Stuttgart-Vaihingen, partly home office.


  • Degree program in the field of engineering or graduation in computer science, business, economics, logistics or comparable degree programs with the subject area or specialization in IT
  • Fluent spoken and written knowledge of English, the project language is English
  • Commitment and teamwork for effective collaboration with the project team
  • Analytical mindset, Innovative thinking, problem-oriented mindset, strategic way of working
  • Use innovative ideas to find elegant and efficient solutions to complex problems in the project
