Are you ready to lead and innovate in the Home Appliances segment? We're looking for a dynamic Global Market Segment Manager to craft and execute strategies that propel our business forward. Your mission? Set ambitious goals, plan actionable steps, and mobilize resources across Engineering, Sales, Product Management, and Marketing. You'll identify unique value propositions, drive innovation, and deeply understand customer needs to boost our market position. Your key objectives will be to develop the perfect product mix, improve project success rates, and oversee initiatives from concept to completion.

Market Segment & Annual Business Plan (Strategy)

Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, Digital & Regional marketing Teams to develop and execute Market Segment Plans for allocated focus customers. Ensure realistic planning of revenue growth through annual adjustments, incorporating Go-To-Market activities derived from the market segment plan for the focus customers.

Account based Marketing (incl. KPIs):

Generate Customer Insights. Develop a network, talk to sales and customers, analyze business relevant market research data. Define customized marketing campaigns for the strategic market segments with the aim of generating new customer contacts, optimizing the distribution of new solution offers, and achieving an improvement in the closing rate of the sales organization in close cooperation with the Digital Marketing Team.

Innovation – Product assortment launches

Create core product assortments and solutions in partnership with sales, product management, and technology teams to meet customer needs and value propositions. Identify gaps in the current assortment to create business cases.

Projects - Support customers projects

Directly engages in major customer projects, defining strategies, persuading buying center functions, refining technical and commercial arguments, and providing necessary support


  • Bachelor's degree in business, mechanical engineering, chemistry, materials science or equivalent. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of five years of combined engineering, strategy, marketing and/or product segment experience in Home Appliance, Chemical, or Adhesive industry.
  • Proactive & self-driven person with a “Can Do” attitude.
  • Must possess strong analytical, strategic, and organizational abilities, along with critical thinking skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel, and experience with CRM software packages
  • Must be able and willing to travel up to 40%
  • Excellent written and spoken English and command of other foreign languages an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills and ability work effectively in cross functional teams
