To strengthen our BA team, we are looking for an experienced and data-driven Senior Business Analyst to join us in Berlin.
Data-Driven Product Optimization:
- Manage our two business analysts to ensure all teams have the right data and insights to make informed decisions
- Proactively identify and analyze issues and opportunities, ensuring the company focuses on high-impact initiatives that drive business success.
- Promote and sustain a culture where data-driven insights are integral to business operations
Ensure Accurate Data Tracking:
- Ensure all departments request the correct information and data points
- Guarantee comprehensive tracking for data to be captured and analyzed effectively
- Demonstrate familiarity with tracking systems and tools such as Google Tag Manager (GTM)
Utilize Reporting Tools:
- Demonstrate proficiency in Power BI, including exporting tables and creating visuals to explain data insights company-wide
- Familiarity with typical analytics tools such as Google Analytics and mobile measurement partners like Adjust
Strong Analytical Skills:
- A numbers-driven mindset with robust analytical capabilities
Educational Background:
- Degree level or similar in a numerical field or with a statistical background (e.g., mathematics, economics, statistics)
Experience:
- 3+ years in a senior business analyst role, ideally within a BI or data-focused department.
- Proficient in explaining complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Power BI and other data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and mobile measurement partners (e.g., Adjust).
- Understanding of tracking systems and tools such as Google Tag Manager (GTM).
Skills and Attributes:
- Excellent communication skills in English and German.
- Ability to synthesize data from different sources into actionable insights.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling business-critical tasks independently.
- Passion for translating data into strategic business decisions.
