Your contribution:

  • As OpenStack Cloud Engineer (m/f/d), you and your team will be responsible for CGM's private cloud infrastructures, which are used by all employees in the group.
  • You are responsible for the provision and automation of modern servers, hardware and the integration into our private cloud infrastructures.
  • With the help of e.g. Helm, you ensure efficient automation and continuous optimisation of the technical process.
  • You use your experience with Ceph and object storage solutions to drive our storage infrastructure forward together with our team.
  • You create and maintain professional documentations as well as connecting monitoring and logging to create a stable operation of the platform.

What you bring to the table:

  • Several years of experience in the operation of private cloud platforms
  • Completed training or degree in the field of IT, e.g. IT specialist for system integration (m/f/d), computer sciences or a related field
  • Experience in the area of virtualisation and knowledge in programming and scripting, especially with Python
  • Good German and English skills
  • Enthusiasm for new technologies around Linux, OpenStack and Kubernetes
