For our company LGCEG we are looking for a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager (m/f/d) to strengthen our team as quickly as possible. In this role you will work in a global matrix environment, influence and represent all HSE responsibilities.
What you will do:
• Advice and support for management, managers and colleagues in the implementation of occupational health and safety and environmental measures
• Collaboration and independent implementation of projects, especially in the planning and implementation of investment projects related to HSE measures
• Development and implementation of concepts for safe and legally compliant workplace design, including suitable preventive measures for occupational safety and hazardous substances management
• Set and implement environmental and safety goals
• Plan and implement of internal HSE training courses
• Emergency management and analysis of occupational accidents and safety incidents as well as recording and evaluation of the test results to derive necessary measures
• Organization and implementation of internal inspections, workplace analyses as well as training and instruction on the subject of occupational safety and environmental protection
• Preparation and update of risk assessments and operating instructions as well as development of measures to eliminate hazards
• Management of internal and external audits and implementation of measures
• Work with headquarters in Korea and contribute to the HSE roadmap of the global Customer Solutions network
What you will bring:
• Degree in engineering, chemistry, safety and environment or comparable qualification
• Training as an HSE specialist according to § 6 ArbSchG
• Several years of professional experience in the field of occupational safety and environmental protection
• Knowledge of the relevant laws, regulations and standards, in particular DIN ISO 14001 and 45001
• Good handling of MS Office and relevant IT applications
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
