Field Application Engineer (m/f/d) Business Development Automotive
This job can be done from our locations in Selb or Heilbronn or 100% remote.
- Design IN and WIN of Vishay Semiconductors and passive Components at our focus automotive customers
- Maximize the future business of all Vishay components by identifying all potential sockets in applications and leveraging the BOM content of Vishay broadline portfolio
- Define new products and derivatives in close cooperation with Marketing and R&D
- Act as internal technical interface between Sales, Marketing and R&D
- Manage projects in cooperation with Sales and Marketing to achieve product qualification and revenue
- Prepare and perform technical and application trainings
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field of studies
- Experience in semiconductor and/or passive component technology
- HW design experience appreciated
- Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- MS Office skills
- Excellent German and English, other languages a plus
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness to travel in Germany and Europe
