At Statista Tech, our mission is to to harness the possibilities of modern technology to bring Statista's data assets to the fingertips of our customers around the globe as conveniently and reliably as possible.   • Help your team to establish a quality first mindset and foster the shift-left approach in your team
  • Guide your team to always factor in quality in all stages of the product development process, from conception to delivery
  • Pair program with your engineering peers, providing a QA perspective
  • Drive improvement of the product development process in terms of quality aspects
  • Provide guidance to your team in what to test how
  • Guide engineering peers in setting up and implementation of tests, partly writing tests yourself

  • It should be easy for you to understand code, independent of specific programming languages it is written in
  • Interest in and understanding of software architecture, software patterns and striving for high software quality
  • Knowledge of software testing techniques and test automation
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks, like e.g. Cypress
  • Strong attention to quality and detail, as well as understanding of business processes
  • Very good organizational and communication skills as well as an independent and responsible way of working
  • Very good knowledge of English, a good knowledge of German is an advantage
