To support our Legal Team, at our location in Cologne we are looking for a
Legal Counsel (m/f/d) Contract and Commercial Law
- As a contact person, you will primarily advise our domestic and international sales, purchasing, and product teams on contract and commercial law.
- You will provide legal support for the implementation of exciting projects throughout the Birkenstock Group.
- You will answer legal questions in your area of expertise and communicate them clearly to the teams.
- You will also review, draft, and amend (inter)national contracts, agreements, terms and conditions, and design corresponding contract templates – in both German and English.
- You will coordinate external and international law firms, e.g. in global projects and product compliance issues, and accompany legal proceedings domestically and abroad.
- You will train colleagues from different departments and prepare workshops for them.
- Fully qualified lawyer with excellent academic results and a focus on contract and commercial law
- Several years of relevant professional experience in an internationally law firm or business
- Contract review and preparation is your bread and butter
- Experience in the creation, review, and negotiation of complex, international sales, purchasing, lease, and project contracts
- Excellent knowledge in sales and antitrust and competiton law
- Fluency in German and business-proficient English are essential; additional foreign language skills are advantageous
- Hands-on approach to work
