Global Amines is the joint venture of Clariant and Wilmar based in Singapore, with its own production facilities in Burgkirchen/Germany, Brazil, China, and Indonesia. The company combines Clariant's longtime experience in amines and derivatives with Wilmar's strong position in vegetable oils and fats. Global Amines is thus the first fully integrated company along the value chain from renewable raw materials to fatty amine derivatives. Based on its global presence, Global Amines aims for continuous growth in the global markets for fatty amines and amine derivatives.

At the GENDORF Chemical Park, Global Amines Germany GmbH employs round about 110 people for the manufacture of fatty amines and derivatives, further used in many everyday goods for personal and home care as well as for various technical applications.

To strengthen our global operations team we are looking for a Product Manager - Amine Derivatives (m/f/d) in Burgkirchen a.d. Alz.


  • Control the technical product information package (product properties, specifications) of Amine Derivatives specialty chemicals
  • Provide technical advice and evaluation to internal stakeholders (CSD, sales, business, production, quality assurance, stewardship) and towards customers
  • Approve product specifications and manage product changes with QA and the global production sites
  • Check and evaluate customer's buying specifications, guarantee appropriate product selection for customer requests
  • Contribute to regulatory product registrations as well as to product innovation projects
  • Ensure proper approval and documentation in the internal databases (e.g. PAR, PIS)

  • Qualification in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent (Master degree, PhD preferred)
  • At least 5+ years of work experience in application development or R&D for Specialty Chemicals or similar position
  • Pro-active personality, self-driven, self-organized and structured
  • Keen to understand details while maintaining the overview
  • High level of confidence in communicating and cooperating within multicultural teams
  • Eager to align with relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Passionate about building up own network of relevant functions
  • Fluent in English and German
