We currently have an opportunity for a full-time accountant within our finance, accounting, and controlling
team.
As an Accountant, you will join a dynamic and international team based at our Düsseldorf office. Your main
duties will include general accounting activities such as bookkeeping for separate legal entities (nationally and internationally), monthly/quarterly closing, preparing consolidated financial statements according to IFRS and HGB, conducting accounting-related analyses and reconciliations, and supporting the coordination of financial audits. Additionally, you will collaborate with various teams to address accounting-related inquiries related to
accounts receivable and payable, oversee, optimize, and enhance internal accounting processes.

- Experience with SAP accounting system, Tagetik and good knowledge in relevant IT applications - MS Excel
- 3-5 years experience within similar role and ideally within retail/eCommerce sector
- The degree/ relevant qualification in accounting is essential
- Experience in accounts receivable (e.g. revenue and expense accounting, payment methods management)
- Knowledge of IFRS and HGB (or other GAAPs)
- Knowledge of fixed assets accounting and IFRS 16
- Proactive, self-motivated and detail oriented
- Ownership and solution-oriented mindset
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Fluent in English, German would be a plus.
