As a Procurement Lead, SR , you will work closely with Amazon's SR team and the Global Procurement Organization to implement mechanisms to meet Amazon's human rights principles and supply chain standards. You will be responsible for SR GPO strategy, change management, metrics, communications and training, site-level/ supplier issue remediation, capacity building program enrollment, and driving results toward business-specific SR goals. You will work with business partners such as Operations, GPO procurement pillars, WW SR and Sustainability, PR, Legal, HR and compliance to design and implement mechanisms to meet Amazon's human rights principles and supply chain standards towards best in class SR procurement vision.

  • Own the SR Program strategy and its implementation at global level
  • Partner with suppliers and stakeholders to coordinate implementation of capacity building materials and tools
  • Analyze data to track trends and initiate deep dives to detect opportunities
  • Responsible for implementing site-level grievance mechanisms (i.e., whistle-blower, media alerts, worker voice)
  • Assist with creation of investigation plans to determine root cause, and leads the remediation efforts with SR while maintaining communication with leadership and impacted stakeholders
  • Develop communications and define self-service mechanism that will reach a large number of supplier and business stakeholders at scale to effectively implement programs
  • Collaborate with category team members, SPO and GSM within Procurement on risk management and remediation/ action plan
  • Draft responses to high-priority and critical issues that arise, in partnership with SR
  • Handle day-to-day issues (constantly thinking about how to invent and simplify to improve)
  • Work with tech and product teams to support SR system and data integrations into Procurement processes

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Extensive experience in Supply Chain, Program Management or Procurement

  • Master's degree
  • Experience with managing teams
