Logistic Manager Oversea's (m/f/d)


Manage improvement and change processes:

  • Initiating and leading cross-functional optimization projects and interdisciplinary teams at both local and global levels.
  • Promoting a continuous improvement mindset and supporting the team in achieving Rimowa's performance standards in distribution/transport (B2B, B2C).
  • Implementing agile and transparent working methods through value stream analysis.
  • Managing the team on a daily basis, including performance monitoring using dashboards and KPIs.
  • Collaborating with the IT team on digitalizing our processes and supporting system changes.
  • Developing benchmarks and standards for application across regions while ensuring trade compliance and customs procedures.
  • Overseeing global procurement of transportation services.
  • Designing and executing training programs to enhance competencies within the logistics sector.

Scope:

  • Management of import/export processes within the EU and on a global scale.
  • Oversight of customs and trade compliance processes, ensuring adherence to German regulations.
  • Coordination of warehouse operations with cross-functional departmental interaction.
  • Strategic planning for supply chain distribution processes.
  • Integration and development of e-commerce processes.

  • A master's degree in engineering or business, ideally with a specialization in Supply Chain Management, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 8 years of leadership experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management, including significant international exposure.
  • Proficiency in process analysis
  • Solid experience in change management with the ability to lead and coordinate across cross-functional and multicultural teams.
  • Demonstrated skill in simplifying and communicating complex subjects, along with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Strong people-oriented leadership qualities capable of motivating and inspiring team members.
  • Passion for engaging individuals and bolstering corporate culture through effective communication.
  • Fluency in German and English; French is a plus.
