Whats Await You
  • Team leadership and responsibility: You will lead a team of professional system installation engineers and help them to improve themselves
  • Customer Projects - Technical Concepts and System Design: You will participate in customer projects and create technical concepts according to our customer specifications. This includes the design of mechanical systems for various ATA chapters such as fuel, hydraulics, venting, and EWIS.
  • Interface Coordination - From Start to Success: You will coordinate and support all interfaces and relevant stakeholders from the beginning to the successful completion of the project.
  • DOORS and CATIA - Planning and Design: You will assist in planning with a focus on requirements engineering and document creation using DOORS. Additionally, you will develop 3D designs using CATIA V5.
  • Installation Concepts - Helicopter and Aircraft: You will develop installation concepts for helicopters and aircraft, including creating (sub)-assemblies and performing detailed design actions.
  • Weight Analysis - Proactive Measures: You will enable weight analysis and take proactive measures to reduce weight.
  • BoM and Drawing Release: You will create and check Bills of Materials (BoM) and initiate the drawing release process according to given procedures.
  • Collaboration and Compliance: You will work closely with cross-functional teams including systems engineers, wiring engineers, manufacturing, and project managers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations in the design and construction of aerospace mechanical structures.

Who are you
  • You have a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field, preferably in the aerospace sector.
  • You have more than 5 years of experience in the design and analysis of mechanical structures.
  • First experience in a leading position highly welcome
  • You bring strong proficiency in engineering software for design, such as CATIA V5 and Siemens NX.
  • You possess deep knowledge of all ATA chapters.
  • You have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • You have effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • You have experience in driving and supporting the activities of other engineers and external suppliers/customers.
  • You have good knowledge of certification according to CS/FAR 25, 27, etc.
  • You are familiar with industry-specific software and tools.
  • You are fluent in English (written/spoken).
