On a temporary (18 month) contract, the SharePoint Specialist reports to the Head of Advisory Unit for Information and Knowledge Management and plays a pivotal role in the modernization of MSF Germany's intranet tool and the implementation of Information & Knowledge Management (IKM) strategy within the MSF Germany section. Working closely with the Senior Advisor Internal communications in the Strategy & Organizational Development department, this role will focus on configuring, deploying, and managing SharePoint to facilitate efficient collaboration across departments and teams.


  • Conduct feasibility studies and assess solutions for SharePoint technical solutions concerning the new Intranet in accordance with the IKM Strategy
  • Conduct functional and technical tests in collaboration with stakeholders, as well as provide post-deployment support and continuous improvement of SharePoint sites
  • Configure and design new SharePoint sites tailored to specific parameters and business needs, including the migration of document libraries
  • Determine the most effective SharePoint architecture and taxonomies to address identified business requirements and maximize search capability
  • Analyze existing interoperability of SharePoint solutions
  • Define and document management and maintenance processes for new sites, including service request cataloging
  • Be able to lead formal workshops and trainings on implementation strategy and information architecture using appropriate techniques

  • Several years of experience in SharePoint administration and implementation
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite: particularly Teams, SharePoint
  • General knowledge of Microsoft infrastructures
  • Sensitivity to IKM issues and experience with information architecture
  • Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, REACT, Power Automate, etc., is a plus
  • An eye for details and a feeling for design and UI/UX
  • Excellent language skills in English and German
