- Lead a team of experts in R&D process technology
- Execute programs to accomplish the strategic Global Process R&D Innovation goals
- Scale up newly developed formulations in Henkel pilot plants and transfer to production plants from the first production trial to launch
- Implement standardized global processes for bulk production technologies, support transfer of know-how/technology to regions
- Execute processing innovations and new technologies using information sources like patent/scientific literature, congresses, market info
- Support executing patent strategy allowing freedom to operate, strong own IP and licensable patents
- Maintain and enhance expertise, efficiency and motivation of the department
- Implement training plans according to needs of department and co-workers
- Master's degree or PhD in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in process development, engineering or production management in FMCG industry
- Knowledge of scale-up requirements: pilot plant to full production process
- Entrepreneurial and collaborational leadership mindset
- Strong networking skills, willingness to perform and lead within a global matrix organization, intercultural skills
- Fluent English & basic German language skills
