For our Shipping team in Hamburg, we are looking for an
Account / Relationship Manager* Shipping
- Take ownership of client onboarding in Greece and Western Europe while being in direct daily contact with the client
- Ensure the smooth running of day-to-day business as integrative and substantial part of the team: account management, international payments incl. cash management, management of deposits as well as financial products, guarantees or conditional payments, all in the industrial environment of operational shipping
- Actively moderate a dialogue with internal Berenberg stakeholders (KYC team, Compliance team and others) to secure Berenberg's expertise of high level services in the market
- Successfully completed apprenticeship scheme as a banker and/or experience in corporate banking and/or the shipping industry
- Advanced knowledge of English, both written and spoken, German and/or Greek beneficial
- Excellent service orientation in an international business environment
- Open-mindedness to learn from the international Shipping team and grow into the next level of responsibilty
- Structured, goal-oriented approach with high quality standards
- Passionate team player
- Very good communication skills
- Flexible working hours within a 39-hour week
