Job Description
We, Leatherman Europe GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Leatherman Tool Group in Portland/Oregon, are now looking for a Sales Representative Poland for our European headquarters in Ratingen/Germany. Leatherman is the world market leader in the Multipurpose Tools segment and a manufacturer of innovative, high-quality tools.

You are part of sales team and are essentially responsible for supporting existing retailers and selected image customers from various distributions (e.g. outdoor, tools, lifestyle, etc.). In addition, your tasks include getting new, strategically important customers excited about our unique products. You work closely with colleagues from the sales and customer service team and report to our head of sales.

Key Tasks
  • Sales of Leatherman Multipurpose Tools to defined existing customers
  • Creating an intensive relationship with our trading partners in your area
  • Active acquisition of new customers in various sales channels, in line with the existing product and distribution strategy
  • Brand/product training for the employees of our trading partners
  • Ensuring high-quality product presentation at the point of sale
  • Achieving a defined sales target for the defined area
  • Creating weekly plans (customer visits) and weekly reports
  • Participation in local and national meetings, consumer events and trade fairs

  • Polish native speaker with excellent understanding of the local Polish market, culture and consumers.
  • Successfully completed commercial training and/or degree
  • At least 2-3 years of professional experience in sales (preferred high-quality consumer goods)
  • Self-confident, convincing personality with strong negotiation skills
  • Strong teamwork skills and joy in making things happen together
  • “Hands on mentality” and not being afraid to tackle where things are “on fire”
  • Passion for high-quality branded products
  • Strong willingness to travel (approx. 70% with)
  • Confident use of common Office applications
  • Good written and spoken English language skills
  • Knowledge of the German language is a plus

This job offers a certain level of flexibility and does not mandatory require personal physical attendance in the Leatherman Europe office in Ratingen/Germany every day. The candidate can also be resided in the local Polish market and work from Home Office. Daily communication can be carried out via video conferences, digital meetings and internal digital platforms. In such case physical meetings with the Leatherman Europe team in Ratingen would be organized on a regular basis.
