As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our infrastructure, improving our client services, and driving continuous improvement across our systems and processes.
Your responsibilities:
Kubernetes cluster
- Maintain the internal Kubernetes cluster
- Improve automation of the internal kubernetes cluster
- Find other improvements
- Develop Monitoring concept based on the current system
- Take datacenters into account
- Centralize customer monitoring
- Improve notification and alerting, define thresholds
- Manage customer configurations in SCM
- Integrate customer config in releases for delivery
- Automate manual activities (log downloading, weekly service restarts)
- Improve tooling for multiple systems (Holidays, other similar activities)
- Manage VMs for customers
- Introduce containers to VMs
- Improve delivery by defining (independent) services
- Provision and manage a GitLab build runner/executor infrastructure.
- Monitor projects for delays in build pipeline execution.
- Deploy software to various environments.
- Manage a Nexus repository. Restricting artefacts accessible in-house by adhering to a security policy.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or software development
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Strong knowledge in networking, TCP/IP protocols, routing, etc.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
