International School Neustadt, located in the picturesque town of Neustadt an der Weinstrasse, Germany, is looking for a dedicated professional for the role of SY Biology Teacher, with the starting date of August 19, 2024. The candidate should be able to plan and implement the Cambridge Lower Secondary, IGCSE and A-level programs for grades 6-12 in the field of Biology and General Science. They will demonstrate very good classroom management skills and will be able to differentiate their lessons to meet the needs of our small classes in Secondary Years. The successful candidate will have a passion for learning and a strong understanding of best practice in the area of inclusion in the secondary context as well as social and emotional learning. He or she will adhere to the school's curriculum standards and will collect formative and summative evidence to report on student performance.
Skills and Qualifications:
A teaching qualification
A minimum of two years teaching experience (student teaching and substitute work not included)
Good inter-personal and communication skills
The ability to differentiate lessons
Previous experience at an international school preferred
Experience and the ability to implement technology in the classroom
Experience in managing and operating a school lab
Strong English skills
