In Frankfurt and Paris, we are looking for you to join us in a full-time permanent position starting June 16th 2025 as

Graduate M&A (all genders) at Corporate & Institutional Banking

BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking is a bridge between large multinationals and mid-sized companies with international business activities (Corporates) and institutional investors and financial service providers (Institutionals). The division is a leading provider of investment banking services across all verticals and geographies.

The program offers a 12-month rotational path that will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of our organization and valuable exposure to different areas within our investment bank.

  • Induction and trainings in Paris
  • Two six-month assignments, one in Frankfurt, one in Paris. It also will provide you with deep insights into our different activities in Investment Banking, notably M&A Advisory, Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Acquisition-, Real Estate- and Leveraged Finance, as well as Securitization
  • After successfully completing the program, you will join the M&A Advisory Department in Frankfurt

Tasks & Responsibilities: What awaits you

  • Work on exciting corporate finance transactions such as M&A deals, IPOs, equity capital raisings, debt capital issuance, High-Yield bonds or large acquisition and complex structured financings
  • Interaction with clients in the context of live transactions and our ongoing marketing effort
  • Assisting in the preparation of presentations and pitches to support the marketing effort
  • Performing background industry and company research, operational benchmarking analyses, valuation work
  • Performing financial and risk analysis to facilitate discussions with internal partners, development of financial models
  • Supporting the marketing of transactions including development of strategy, timetable, target investors, collation and analysis of feedback
  • Preparation of credit proposals for large scale acquisition financings

Expertise & Soft Skills: What you offer

  • Excellent academic performance (preferably in business administration, finance, accounting and / or economics or similar)
  • Very good language skills in English and German
  • Previous internship experience within investment banking, corporate finance, accounting, valuation, and / or consulting
  • Strong quantitative / technical abilities as well as outstanding communications and time management skills
  • Solid knowledge in Corporate Finance, Capital Markets and / or financial modelling
  • Ambition to strive in an environment of highly motivated peers with a steep learning
