Our Subsidies Management team in Düsseldorf is looking for you!

  • Advice and compliance: Advise projects as a subsidy regulation expert, stay information about relevant funding regulations and proactively address compliance risks.
  • Analysis and forecasting: Analyze and forecast the impact of regulation and market changes on subsidy systems. Provide recommendations and guidance to adjust project strategies. Analyze business models for structure, quality, completeness and correctness prior to submission and provide feedback to the project team.
  • Project review: Review and challenge projects for compliance and fulfillment of eligibility requirements.
  • Sustainability analyses: Assist with sustainability analyses and calculations, e.g. greenhouse gas emission savings and compliance with "Do No Significant Harm" rules.
  • Market investigations: Conduct research on the competition and market environment as required for funding applications.
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with authorities, agencies and partners. Represent Uniper in forums to improve funding opportunities and collaboration.
  • Best Practices and Training: Develop and implement best practices and tools for grant management. Train project teams for successful grant applications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project teams and other departments to ensure implementation of grant funded projects.
  • Project portfolio: Portfolio includes hydrogen and hydrogen derivatives, green energy imports, decarbonization of conventional power generation, battery storage and other energy transition technologies other than renewables.

  • University degree in law, economics, political science or related field with good grades
  • At least 5 years of experience in grant administration and in-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices
  • Understanding of energy markets, commercial knowledge, and skills in modeling/analyzing business cases and sustainability criteria
  • Existing network in energy grants is an advantage
  • Integrative and pragmatic personality, able to effectively manage stakeholders and motivate in challenging situations
  • Precise, analytical and problem-solving oriented way of working
  • High measure of initiative, flexibility, adaptability and intercultural competence
  • Excellent MS Office 365 skills
  • Professional fluency in English and German; other languages are an advantage
