Corporate Finance strives to be at the forefront of BASF's digitalization journey. We, the team Digital Excellence & Transformation, are responsible for Corporate Finance's digital transformation by setting clear priorities on business steering, IT & data as well as people & culture. We drive and support innovative reporting & analytics solutions in the area of financial steering and sustainability, leveraging on AI capabilities and effective usage of data. We are looking for you as a working student for up to 20 hours per week as of now for a period of 12 months.

  • As a member of our team you will support an international project team, focusing on the topics of digital and AI upskilling as well as knowledge exchange.
  • The global Controlling Community of all BASF units as well as Corporate Finance will be your target group.
  • Planning, organizing and hosting online events and webinars will be part of your responsibilities.
  • The continuous development of our intranet website will be independently taken over by you.
  • Furthermore, you will write newsletters and publish them on various channels.
  • Another important aspect of your role will be curating and developing tailor-made training paths, for example, on platforms like LinkedIn Learning.
  • In the application of agile project management methods, you will support the project leader.

This position offers a flexible and independent work environment, allowing you to work from home and on-site in Ludwigshafen, ensuring a well-balanced mix.

  • enrolled in an economics degree or a comparable course of study
  • analytical thinking and independent as well as conscientious way of working
  • creativity to develop and pitch new ideas
  • can-do mentality to drive things forward as part of the team
  • confident handling of Microsoft applications
  • knowledge in Microsoft Power Apps and Power BI is an advantage
  • excellent communication skills to summarize results in an understandable way and to present them convincingly
  • fluent in both German and English
