Our Commercial Operations team in Düsseldorf is looking for You!

  • You will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of energy commodity trades, including deal validation, data quality management, updating the trading system and related documentation
  • You will handle the settlement of the trades, including payment execution and monitoring, in accordance with our Team KPIs
  • You will deal with different commodities (e.g. physical, gas, power trades) and cross-functional tasks within various Trading Operation teams
  • You will liaise with the Front Office Teams in response to any query to ensure that timely and accurate support is provided in running our business
  • You will support audits and follow up on recommendations with high quality and in given time
  • You will update working instructions and take over training of new colleagues
  • You will support and search for additional opportunities to create value, increase efficiency and improve effectiveness, also exploring digital tools

  • Experience in energy market, in validation, pre-settlement and settlement tasks
  • Understanding of contracts as well as the risks and requirements faced in the energy market, focus on accuracy, contractual complexity, and detail
  • Knowledge and understanding of Energy Trading and Risk Management Systems (ETRM) and SAP would be a plus
  • Distinctive customer orientation and willingness to support various areas of the team's scope
  • Effective and efficient communication, documentation, and presentation skills
  • Affinity for teamwork and cross functional collaboration
  • Strong ownership mentality with an independent, responsible working style
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of additional languages would be a plus
