About the team
The unit Technology & Engineering develops and governs E.ON's digital technology strategy, oversees the development and launch of new products and services, ensures that the DT landscape is aligned with E.ONs business goals and manages the DT engineering skills and capacities. As Head of Enterprise Architecture (f/m/d), you will lead the sub unit Enterprise Architecture under Technology & Engineering.
meaningful & challenging - Your tasks
- Leading the development and implementation of the enterprise architecture strategy and framework, ensuring alignment with business objectives for all business areas - Customer Solutions (eMobility, Energy Home, Commodity), Energy Infrastructure Services,Energy Markets, Energy Networks, Corporate Functions and IT/Digital
- Developing and guiding a team of experienced Architects
- Define and maintain enterprise architecture principles, standards, and guidelines for the organization
- Collaborate with business leaders and product teams to identify and prioritize architectural initiatives
- Ensure that the enterprise architecture supports scalability, flexibility, efficiency, as well as engineering and security requirements
- Monitor and assess industry trends to identify opportunities for architectural improvements
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to understand their business needs and ensure the enterprise architecture meets these needs
- Participate in strategic planning and budgeting processes to align technology investments with business goals
authentic & ambitious - Your profile
- Master's degree in Computer Sciences, or professional knowledge at master's degree level, as well as many years of experience in developing and implementing enterprise-wide architecture strategies
- Proven track record in strategic leadership and the development of teams and individuals, enjoying to explain the mission and let the team shine publicly
- Strong understanding of digital infrastructure, applications, cloud computing and emerging technologies
- Good understanding of of the energy / grid industry and their challenges in the energy transition
- Proficiency in analyzing complex business requirements and translating them into architectural designs
- Self-motivated way of working combined with the willingness to take on responsibility and risks
- Willingness to occasionally travel nationally and internationally
- Fluent English skills
