About the Role
Are you ready to spearhead engineering transformation in the transportation and mobility sector? Publicis Sapient is seeking a visionary Senior Technology Leader to join our automotive and mobility business and be part of the leadership team in EMEA and APAC. This role offers a unique opportunity to act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, including CIOs and CTOs, in leading automotive, mobility, and transportation companies.
Your mission will be to bridge the gap between business and IT, delivering enterprise-scale digital solutions that redefine industry standards. You will lead technical design, planning, and delivery while driving best practices and fostering the growth of our engineering talent. As a thought leader, you will help shape the future of digital and mobile technology solutions for our clients and within our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level clients, translating complex technical concepts into strategic business value
- Technical Leadership: Lead the design, planning, and delivery of cutting-edge digital solutions, ensuring high-quality, rapid software development
- Innovation: Develop and promote new technology propositions, particularly in areas like connected car platforms, marketing, data analytics, and software platform development
- Team Development: Inspire, mentor, and grow a team of junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence
- Quality Assurance: Oversee the delivery and quality of all engineering work, ensuring projects are set up for success and run efficiently
- Thought Leadership: Contribute to the industry through speaking engagements, publications, and by driving the adoption of modern architectural patterns and engineering disciplines
Your skills and experience
- Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with relevant tech stacks and platforms such as Salesforce, Adobe, and cutting-edge AI applications
- Industry Experience: Proven track record in the automotive, mobility, and transportation sectors
- Consulting Skills: Exceptional consulting, presentation, and advisory abilities with a knack for solving complex technical problems
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, German is a plus
- Team Leadership: Experience leading large, globally distributed engineering teams
- Architectural Knowledge: Deep understanding of modern architectural patterns and engineering disciplines to maximize delivery velocity
- External Presence: Contributions to open source, speaking at meet-ups and conferences, and authoring books or articles are highly desirable
