We are looking for support for our Competition & Corporate Law team. The position is limited to 24 months and part-time (60-80 %).

Key responsibilities

  • Legal Advisory on Market Launches: Independently provide expert legal advice on the launch of new and innovative products focusing on trademark, design, and unfair competition law. Advise on legal requirements for the development, safety, and market placement of consumer products to ensure full product compliance. Offer guidance on EU Green Deal regulations and their implications for our current and future product portfolio.
  • Conflict management: Handle judicial and extrajudicial disputes in Germany and internationally, particularly in the fields of unfair competition and trademark law.
  • Online Brand Protection: Oversee activities related to the protection of our brand in the online environment.
  • Marketing Material Review: Conduct legal reviews of marketing materials within an international context to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Contract Drafting: Draft and review contractual provisions related to trademark and unfair competition law.
  • Project Management: Manage and oversee projects with significant legal implications, ensuring successful and compliant outcomes.
  • Process Optimization: Develop and improve internal processes and guidelines to boost efficiency and streamline interactions between the Legal Department and other departments.

  • Fully qualified lawyer (Volljurist) with specialization in unfair competition and trademark law
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably within the FMCG industry
  • In-depth understanding of trademark, design, and unfair competition law.
  • Familiarity with EU Green Deal regulations is a plus
  • Excellent command of both English and German (written and oral).
  • Strong grasp of economic issues and their legal implications.
  • Proactive, "hands on" mentality, with the ability to provide independent and forward-thinking advice
  • Ability to manage competing priorities with high efficiency and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, coupled with a strong team spirit.
