Bosch Building Technologies is divided into the international product business and the regional system integration business. Currently, the three product areas of video systems, access control & intrusion detection systems and communication systems as well as the associated cross-divisional functions within the division are to be set up as an independent unit and then further developed as a sustainable core business by a new owner.

  • International and interdisciplinary cooperation: As Purchasing IT Business Owner (f/m/div.), you will be part of the new company to be set up in the future and thus contribute to a globally networked team of around 4300 colleagues operating in over 50 countries.
  • You support the development of the IT governance concept for procurement.
  • You have knowledge of modern purchasing solutions for S2C and P2O.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of SAP ECC and support the design and evaluation of new purchasing solutions outside of SAP and the necessary interfaces to SAP.
  • You are responsible for the validation of IT solutions and their implementation.
  • You support, coordinate and carry out acceptance tests.
  • Support the introduction of IT solutions and corresponding training measures in Purchasing.
  • You have the ability to support the transition to S/4 Hana for the S2O process.
  • Your tasks will include monitoring and improving the IT tools used and the digitalisation of processes.
  • You ensure coordination and support in the creation of IT business requests.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining existing data sources with regard to data quality issues.
  • You will be in charge of managing key users for IT applications in Purchasing.
  • You carry out regular market observations and follow current IT trends in the purchasing environment.
  • Last but not least, you will be responsible for managing one or more external IT service providers.

  • Education: completed studies in the field of business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable degree programme
  • Experience and Knowledge: several years of professional experience in the field of supply chain, purchasing and logistics as well as the corresponding IT tools
  • Personality and Working Practice: Ability to identify problems, develop solutions and achieve results; ability to work under pressure; ability to prioritise tasks and duties; project management skills and the ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
  • Languages: very good written and spoken German and English
