We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Product Manager to join our team in Friedberg. In this role, you will define the global product portfolio strategy, including analysis of market trends and competition, to ensure ongoing success and growth in the short, medium, and long term. Your focus will be on two key portfolios:
- CATS Autotransfusion System: Designed for fully automatic washing of wound blood during surgery, allowing for the re-transfusion of autologous blood and blood components.
- Tec Therapeutic Apheresis Device: For the collection and processing of platelets, therapeutic plasma, and cells.
- Product Development and Improvement:
- Initiate development projects for product improvements, including creating business cases and obtaining project approvals.
- Define design inputs and ensure continuous product improvements throughout the lifecycle to drive sales growth.
- Portfolio Management:
- Manage the global product portfolio and identify new business opportunities.
- Oversee product phase-in / -out processes.
- Market Launch and International Roll-outs:
- Ensure successful market launches of new products or improvements, including the creation of Product Information Packages (PIP), regulatory planning, and scale-up coordination with production sites and QA.
- Manage international roll-outs, including preparation and approval of regulatory documents.
- Sales and Support:
- Provide application support to sales units, regions, and countries.
- Continuously update marketing materials and Product Information Packages (PIP).
- Cost Management and Budgeting:
- Actively support and initiate cost-reduction redesign initiatives.
- Manage all Global Product Management activities in line with the annual budget and defined milestones.
- University or technical college degree or dual degree in Business, Medical Technology, Engineering, or related fields
- Several years professional experience in global product management
- Project management experience
- Team player with strong international communication skills
- Highly motivated and committed, self-reliant, well-organized, reliable, and possessing a strong sense of integrity
- Fluent in English
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
