Launch your career as a

Trainee (f/m/d) in Chemistry for our Business Division Silicones

for assignments e.g. at our Burghausen, Munich, Nünchritz and Ann Arbor site starting in October 2024.

Our 18-month trainee program will introduce you to various departments and opportunities for development and integrate you into our day-to-day business.


  • Quickly acquire a broad range of expertise in the areas of vulcanized silicone products
  • Develop an understanding of the markets, accumulating knowledge of our customers, technologies, products and competition
  • Identify new technical requirements and trends in our core markets, especially with an eye to sustainability
  • Develop new ways of approaching solutions and processes for work sequences and organization
  • Contribute to new ideas for products and processes geared toward a sustainable product portfolio and suitable for a wide range of customer needs and applications
  • Advance a variety of projects in the fields of silicone, polymer or organic chemistry (research, technology management, production)

  • Outstanding performance in the completion of a Ph.D. in chemistry, specialization in polymer chemistry
  • International experience (study abroad etc.) and enjoy networking
  • A project mindset and a passion for interdisciplinary teamwork
  • A talent for communication and an outstanding ability to apply your expertise to the search for sustainable solutions
  • Excellent German and English (level C1) skills
  • Willingness to travel for domestic and international project assignments
