The Open Industry 4.0 Alliance is a growing global implementation alliance (non-profit industrial association) with 100+ member companies, ranging from small to well-known ones, who are experts in Industry 4.0 & digitalization. Our mission is to build bridges between various companies and industry players in the Industry 4.0 and IIoT areas.
Our openness, collaboration, and focus on customer value clearly differentiate us from similar initiatives. The bigger and stronger the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance becomes, the more successfully we can master the major challenges of Industry 4.0 together. We are currently looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager (m/f/d), based in Munich (hybrid work model). You will cover for a team member on maternity leave (for two years) with the prospect of permanent employment.
Carry our Industry, Technology, and Community vision into the Industry 4.0 world with us! Work closely with the OI4 team, powerful and international member companies, and partners!
You will lead:
- Specific areas of marketing and communications, focusing on external communication, content management, and growth strategies.
- The entire marketing content pipeline, transforming complex content into understandable and engaging media stories. You will coordinate content for various channels (website, social media, PR, and others) and promote it using effective communication strategies.
- The development of comprehensive marketing plans aligned with the association's goals and strategic projects in collaboration with various stakeholders.
- The OI4 Alliance's external representation at fairs and events, including the organization of some of these events.
- The budget for your area efficiently, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
- External communication activities, such as public relations, social media, and the development of communication channels to effectively tell our story.
You will support:
- The development of the OI4 website and other channels in collaboration with our technical content and tools team.
- Our community and internationalization teams with various marketing topics, such as marketing and communication activities or content production during community or international events.
- Degree in Communication, Marketing, or Journalism.
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing and communications positions within a B2B environment.
- Fluency in English and German (both speaking and writing) is a must.
- Experience and motivation in working with various stakeholders, such as SMEs, large corporations, political organizations, research institutes, and non-profit organizations.
- Considerable experience in content management, coordination, and promotion.
- Extensive knowledge of online marketing strategies, tools, and analytics.
- Understanding of various industries.
- Readiness to dive into various content areas and formats.
- Strong writing skills and the ability to translate complex topics into engaging content for various audiences.
- Flexible mindset and readiness to work in an agile and diverse team.
- You are based in Munich.
